Biography - A leading expert in the use of technology that enhance marketing & sales efforts to achieve measurable business goals
Jordan P. Rosner is a marketing and technology leader who melds twenty years of experience from various Fortune 50 companies in the high-tech, medical, and manufacturing industries with the passion and resourcefulness of an entrepreneur to help businesses and brands achieve exponential annual growth.
Rosner began developing new, pioneering, products for startups that either have been acquired or have successfully gone public (CYTYC). All of the products have won awards for innovation and in some cases have become the Gold Standard for their industry. Several of the companies were sold to much larger organizations so the products could be incorporated into other products. Exos Corp was acquired by Microsoft (MSFT) and the technology was merged into the Sidewinder Joystick product. In 2007 Cytyc announced that it was to be acquired for over $10 billion by a biotech firm.
Having led the operations for a small, family-owned, textile company (Glamorise Foundations Inc.) he was able to help the company produce annual, double-digit, growth such that the company was successfully sold for a multiple of earnings that was larger than the industry standard.
Not resting on laurels he moved to Pfizer (PFE) for nine years where he managed world recognized, billion-dollar, healthcare brands such as Zithromax, Viagra, and Lipitor from Pfizer World HQ in NYC as well as from Pfizer Japan - the teams built the brands to be the number one product in their respective categories. Brands under his direction have grown exponentially on volume, revenue, and/or earnings. As a Pfizer thought leader in the strategic use of technology for marketing and sales effectiveness he has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences and closed door roundtable meetings in addition to being responsible for creating strategic partnerships, new programs, and services with leading-edge companies.
After years of delivering results on big brands, he was asked to be the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of a new autonomous joint venture between Pfizer, Microsoft, and IBM (Amicore was acquired by Misys Healthcare Systems in 2006) that was a leading player in the electronic medical records field. He quickly proved his strengths as a collaborative, hands-on business builder and was asked to move to Tokyo as an expat for two years to start the Pfizer Japan Relationship Marketing Department. Under his leadership teams have delivered strong, sustainable, award-winning results that enhance Pfizer’s disease management products and services in both emerging and mature business markets.
Recognizing that building businesses and brands to achieve rapid growth is his passion, Rosner founded Roz Enterprises LLC that currently consults to, invests in, and looks for small/mid-sized consumer product companies or brands to operate or acquire.
Rosner received a BSEE/CS from Tufts University and a MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Management. He is a licensed private pilot, a volunteer EMT in the Scarsdale Ambulance Corp., a high school & college guest lecturer of business, an author, and an avid photographer. His marketing and technology knowledge has made him a sought after speaker on the strategic use of marketing and sales technology in the healthcare industry. He shares his expertise pro bono by serving on the Scarsdale Technology Advisory Committee that advises the Town Trustees and administrators on technology issues, as well as with other philanthropic and educational ventures.
He is married to the former Rahel Green, Chief Operating Officer for the Solomon Schechter School of Westchester and has two children. |
